What is the Interval Training?
Interval training has been in the news lately, thanks in part to the phenomenal success of the Turbo Fire Workout program by Chalene Johnson. People are losing weight with this program much easier than they ever lost weight with regular workouts that didn’t include Interval training, but most don’t realize why. Of course, if you’re seeing the fat literally melt away, who cares? The science behind the workout isn’t likely to be your first concern when you have new clothes to go buy in smaller sizes.
Interval training is not that complicated. It’s simply a training method that alternates short bursts of intense activity with intervals of lighter activity. In the TurboFire Workout program it’s called HITTS, which stands for high intensity Interval training.
Anyone can practice Interval training, no matter how out of shape you are. If the TurboFire Workout is too much for you at first, you can walk around your neighborhood practicing your own Interval training until you feel ready to begin the program. Start by walking slow then very fast in equal intervals of 45 seconds each, or whatever you feel comfortable with. In no time, you will start feeling far more fit than you would by just walking at a steady pace. This is the concept of the TurboFire Workout. Simple, isn’t it? Anyone can reap the benefits.
